A thirdworld country....my Guatemala.
Have you ever think how to live in third world country? Or how hard it is to live in a country like that?
Yesteday, I was sleeping. A suddenly knock on the door and the neighbord saying "my daugther is sick, we need to take it to the hospital...can I pay you the gas...so you can drop us to the hospital?"
I thought how my culture and live here in Guatemala is.
I live in a culture where the women do not have much of a "voice". I see the women staying at home, giving birth to the children, doing the household chores and well...what else a women can do....?? If they did not studied of course.
I have my husband, we don't have children and not planning to soon. But the case here in Guatemala is that many women do stay home and do not do much.
I do see life here as something I can't change. But I am glad to life...that I lived somewhere else for a while and I saw...women are in many things the same as men.
