Day of the Devil! Dia del Diablo!

I being meaning to write this since december 7th. but for some reason or other i havne't had the chance. Did you know here in Guatemala we celebrate the day of the Devil?! Well, before you get scared let me explain to you what this is about. It all starts with getting garbage or stuff you can burn out, many people do get dry woodsticks or stuff like that to burn. All this is lit on fire the night of December 7th. the meaning of this is to burn all the bad things (that is why you have to get some garbage together) and welcome the christmas time....when all the good things happen.

He tratado de escribir esto desde diciembre 7, pero por alguna razon u otra no havia podido. Sabian que aqui en Guatemala celebramos el Dia del Diablo?! bueno, antes que se asusten les voy a explicar de que se trata. Todo empieza con colectar basura o cosas que se puedan quemar, muchas personas buscan palos de madera o cosas asi para quemar. Todo esto se quema con fuego en la noche de diciembre 7. el significado de esto es el quemar las cosas malas (por eso es que se debe colectar un poco de basura) y dar la bienvenida a la temporada navideña...cuadno todas las cosas buenas pueden pasar.
